Chicago is truly the perfect place to get married in our opinion! Of course we are biased as we mainly work Chicago and Chicagoland suburbs weddings, but we really do feel that there is a lot of value in having your wedding in Chicago. This amazing city has so much to offer for our couples and we really think that it is the best place to get married! If you aren’t quite sure and you need some convincing yourself, whether you’re not from the city or you are nervous about bringing your family and friends into the Windy City, we definitely have our reasons for Chicago being the best place to have your wedding!

Of course, one of the most obvious reasons to have your wedding in Chicago is because of the amazing views of the Chicago skyline. There are many places within the actual downtown, Chicago area that you can go for photos or to host your wedding ceremony or reception that you can see the beautiful Chicago skyline. Whether you go to Olive Park, Ping Tom Park, or have your wedding at an amazing venue like Lacuna Lofts, you will be able to take some beautiful wedding photos with a perfect view of the Chicago skyline and the beautiful architecture that Chicago has as one of the staple reasons to see the city! From May to October, you are likely to find a beautiful, sunny, not-too-cold date that really can be absolutely perfect! Even some dates in November can still be tolerable for taking photos outdoors and not becoming an icicle. If you have your wedding in Chicago, you are very likely to find an open wedding date that will likely have lovely weather too! We definitely recommend checking the yearly forecast for the dates that you’re looking into, but overall we find our couples are pleasantly surprised with the weather here in Chicago on their wedding day.
