At Firmly Rooted Events, we are a team of Chicago suburbs wedding planners offering day-of coordination, working with couples in the suburbs like Naperville, Evanston, Arlington Heights, and Schaumburg, who are hoping to just have a good time with their family and friends.
“Day-of Coordination” might imply that we really only show up on your wedding day, but it’s very seldom the case for most Chicagoland wedding coordinators. We want to be fully prepared for your wedding and provide you with the best services while still being practical.
With Firmly Rooted Events, you start working with us when you book and begin your “open door policy” where you can ask any questions or get any advice you need along the wedding planning journey. We also look over your selected Chicago suburbs wedding vendors’ contracts and provide you with planning resources before we even get down to the meat of our work!
We will have pre-wedding meetings to put together your timeline, walk through your Chicagoland wedding venue, coordinate your ceremony rehearsal, and then finally to the actual wedding day!

Being able to host your ceremony, reception, and even your getting-ready time in the morning is so nice and convenient and we surely love this space for weddings!

We think that it’s so cool that being right next to the airport getting to see the planes flying by - but also having none of the noise inside - is such a unique feature! LM Catering, their in-house caterer, is also amazing to work with and provides such a wonderful service. And the best part is that it is inside of a hotel so you have all of the perks of a hotel wedding with all of the beauty of a separate wedding venue!
