Providence Vineyard in Hebron, Illinois Wedding Feature: Jenissa and Christian

This amazing June wedding was such a beautiful day to be a part of! I really love when couples bring their sweet story together and really make sure they have SO MUCH fun the entire day. Jenissa and Christian had a traditional ceremony starting in Huntley, Illinois at St. Mary’s Church and then really brought the energy and fun for their reception at Providence Vineyard in Hebron. Jenissa and Christian have been together for a long time, so the wedding was definitely long-awaited for them and their family and friends!

Jenissa and Christian opted to skip the first look and really soak in the moment when they see each other down the aisle. As long as you build in enough time between the ceremony and the reception for photos and make sure to take advantage of the sunset like they did, this is totally an option if you can’t get passed how you’ve probably envisioned your wedding day since you were young.

When the couple was on their way to the venue, it started to rain just a tad. The guests were thankfully covered by the patio in the back for cocktail hour, but we definitely were hopeful that the rain would let up later for some photos out in the vineyard.

Providence Vineyard is definitely known for the rustic elegance that it brings to its couples. This space is absolutely stunning with the all white interior and it honestly speaks for itself! The candles were all LED and we actually were short on batteries, but we were able to get to the store and take care of it before anyone even noticed.

Jenissa and Christian were able to get some gorgeous videos as well as the lovely photos from Brooke and David! It was truly magical to see everything that they shot for the day.

The reception started with a grand entrance what was so cute! All of their guests were so excited to really get started celebrating Jenissa and Christian’s new chapter together.

Jenissa and Christian had lots of Taylor Swift playing during dinner, and they also had their first dance to “Enchanted”, and that it was!!!! It was such a beautiful dance that they have actually recreated from when they were 16 years old!

I really have been loving first dances lately - the ones with spins are lovely but the lifts are really the most precious thing to witness in person!!!! They did an amazing job and everyone really loved it.

One thing that I also loved about this wedding was how much time Jenissa and Christian spent on the dance floor together. You could tell this crowd was here to party and it really helps keep the guests hyped when they are out there dancing with you too!

During sunset, the rain stopped which made for some literally perfect sunset portraits. The weather can be unpredictable, so it’s really nice that there was some time where they were able to get outside for some beautiful photos. I really couldn’t pick any favorites so I have a handful of them here for you to swoon over like I did! I really loved that even though they only did their photos onsite of the reception, there is such a variety to choose from for their portraits.

Jenissa and Christian truly were so happy for the whole day. I loved seeing that nothing could stand between them and their love!

Jenissa also had a reception dress along with a ponytail that I just lived for!! When it got a little darker outside, the guests also really loved the LED foam sticks that were brought out to the dance floor. They are usually a big hit no matter what!

One of the best parts of the whole day in my opinion was the sparkler exit. I usually recommend just having the wedding party and close family, but the tunnel and crowd that we had for this was truly amazing! The photos are also so iconic!!

Everything about Jenissa and Christian’s wedding was so sweet and lovely. Every part of it was so memorable and so fun and I wish we could all relive it all over again! I am so glad we were able to help bring everything together for such a lovely day that everyone was really able to enjoy.
